How did the Blom adventure start?


In the beginning, there was the idea, and then the desire to transform it into a product: this is normal for Sylvio, our product designer, who, throughout his career, has always been keen to create the right and necessary object.

For the BLOM project, Sylvio realized that there was no telephone accessory that would combine the functions of existing objects. He then imagined the perfect object that, beyond its practicality, sacrificed nothing for aesthetics, the driving force behind his inspiration. Its graphic design in the shape of a colorful clover brings joy and happiness to your everyday life.

Today, the telephone has become an indispensable productivity tool that accompanies us on a daily basis. A product for business, but also for leisure and entertainment.

The BLOM concept was created based on an analysis of an obvious consumer need, and after several months of study, the result is a high-performance product. It includes 5 unique functions in just 2mm of thickness, making it the most innovative product with no real competition on the market today. BLOM is an inseparable partner for your phone, making your daily multimedia tasks easier.

This idea brought together 4 passionate entrepreneurs: Sylvio, Marc, Philippe and Martial. Sylvio and Marc have known each other since childhood, and Marc and Philippe since their teens. To complete a team whose cement is friendship and the desire to bring a project to success, they ask Martial, a shrewd businessman who shares their friendship, to come and support them.

Sylvio, the designer behind the Blom innovation

BLOM is an object conceived and designed by Sylvio Beraka, an experienced industrial designer.

His passion for product design began at the Beaux-Arts in Toulouse, where he studied art history and industrial design. After graduating, he joined the Carré Noir agency in Paris, then the Raison Pure agency in New York, where he worked in the cosmetics product department. On his return to the French capital, he joined the Cent Degrés agency, before deciding in 2005 to set up Beraka Design Studio as a freelance designer, devoting himself to product and furniture design. Sylvio Beraka created a folding urban bicycle in 2011, which won the Stratégie Design Produit grand prize. More recently, he had the honor of creating a capsule hotel concept for the famous Accord group in Paris in 2018.

What inspires him?
"I love the craziness of man, looking at things with children's eyes to bring the product to life...always with an obsession for detail...Trying to improve our way of life on a daily basis...with new solutions...just and necessary. That's what I've continued to do for our BLOM project".
